Fashion Browser.co.uk is an information based website designed to announce special offers from participating Internet fashion retailers.

The original HTML website looked great but was difficult to update. The new version uses Wordpress as a content management system and is based on a design by the very talented Andreas Viklund.

I intentionally kept it very simple to communicate the special offers directly to the visitor. The page layout is not cluttered with images, advertising or unnecessary text. Of course I have had to incorporate Google adverts to fund the website but in a manner that is sympathetic to the design.

The website’s main aim is to encourage visitors to follow the links to the participating retailers, rather than stay on the Fashion Browser website. The layout and content are key factors for its success
